In addition to interior and exterior decoration, the museum spaces themselves require furnishing with furniture and equipment, special lighting, visual and sound effects depending on the content and type of museum, and a setting that should be presented to visitors as faithfully as possible.
Cascading construction is a unique way of connecting spaces at different heights and floors, which achieves a simple and functional flow for users and visitors and enables an unhindered experience of space and content.

Teaching Institute for Public Health "Dr. Andrija Štampar" in Zagreb has been taking care of residents' health for many years. In order to continue successfully carrying out its task, a part of the institute needed to be reconstructed.
At the existing location, the dilapidated building B was reconstructed and shared communication with all buildings via the connecting corridor was made possible.
The reconstruction of building B included the following works: rehabilitation of the load-bearing structure along with seismic rehabilitation by inserting reinforced concrete walls and foundations, extension of the elevator shaft, demolition of the existing staircase and construction of a steel evacuation staircase. The reconstruction of the connecting corridor includes the thermal rehabilitation of the existing corridor, a new construction expanded from the existing buildings, the extension of two floors and the extension of the evacuation staircase.
