The building in Runjaninova Street was built in 1914 in the late Art Nouveau style according to the designs of the architect Rudolf Lubynski. The last Austro-Hungarian building was built for the needs of the civil service in Zagreb. The reconstruction, interior decoration and adaptation of the building for the needs of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia required the execution of a series of complex construction and craft works. The reconstruction of the existing and upgrading of the courtyard building was carried out according to high architectural standards and conservation provisions in order to preserve the historical appearance of the old building.
