In 2015, the extensive works on the reconstruction, rehabilitation and complete interior fit-out of a patrician urban house – the Moise Palace on the island of Cres were carried out. The palace is located within the historical nucleus of the town of Cres, characterized by dense urban block construction, and it was in particularly bad condition. The aim of the project was to put this extremely valuable renaissance building into function and condition it to public needs, at the same time observing the tradition and function of the space, and strictly controlling the introduction of new structures and facilities by using heritage shapes and materials. The project was financed with European Union funds.
